When the artwork covers a large wall area or even the entire wall, a permanent gluing is recommended, using the same adhesive as for attaching the pieces together.

Detachable installation involves the use of double-sided adhesive strips or screws. Smaller works, such as portraits, can be treated like regular paintings, using appropriate hanging systems.
