MEANDERS

DESIGNER's insight

For Meanders, I began with the idea of movement shaped by intention. Instead of working with fragments, I focused on continuous lines that travel across the surface and define space through direction and rhythm.

The composition is built from elongated curves that expand and contract, creating tension between stability and flow. Each line was carefully refined to maintain balance across the surface, so that no area feels accidental or excessive.

Contrast plays a central role. The interaction between light and dark defines depth and reinforces the clarity of the lines. What interested me was continuity, how a visual path can guide the eye without interruption.

Meanders is about discipline within fluidity. The movement feels natural, yet it is precisely constructed, resulting in a work that is dynamic while remaining coherent and purposeful.

  • CONCEPT AND VISUALIZATION

The first layer functions as both a background and a sound-absorbing surface. The second layer, thinner and more rigid, carries the graphic composition. A negative of the second layer can be mounted on a separate background, creating a visually compelling pair. Each layer can be painted in the colors chosen by the client. It is also possible to combine both colors within the same piece, resulting in a planar surface.
