Just as Mihai moves between dynamic extremes with precision and sensitivity, the sculpture shifts between compressed depth and subtle surface.
From my perspective, this piece becomes a visual score—an abstract map of touch, presence, and resonance. It embodies the same balance Mihai achieves in performance: a quiet intensity shaped by contrast and control.
I am very happy to offer my review for an excellent product made by an outstanding professional. First of all, I want to mention the uniqueness of this product: it lies halfway between practicality and a work of art. It can completely transform a room visually while absorbing sound and balancing the acoustics. As a musician, both aspects are very important to me.
The execution of this work is flawless - it combines imagination and talent to create something exceptional. Its range of applications is nearly limitless. I particularly appreciate that the material used is 100% natural - there are no small parts and nothing toxic.
One final observation concerns Virgil Niiranen - an unquestionably serious and professional individual. He delivers beyond expectations and consistently meets deadlines.
MIHAI DIACONESCU
Mihai Diaconescu is a pianist whose artistry blends precision, emotion, and a deep sensitivity to the music he plays. Born in Romania, he began piano at four and was already performing internationally by twelve. His path has taken him from early national acclaim to a rich concert life across Europe, with appearances in cities like Munich, Santander, and Helsinki.
Educated at the Gheorghe Dima Academy and the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, Mihai brings together Romanian expressiveness and Nordic clarity. His performances are known for their balance of rigor and lyricism – qualities that have earned him international awards and festival invitations.
Beyond his solo work, Mihai is an active chamber musician and a creative collaborator. His recent projects include immersive, audience-centered performances that rethink the concert experience. He also teaches at the Gheorghe Dima Academy, where he earned his doctorate.
Whether in classical repertoire or contemporary works, Mihai’s playing stands out for its quiet intensity and refined control – an artistry that leaves a lasting impression.
I didn’t start with a composition — I started with Mihai. Not just his features, but his quiet precision, his inner rhythm. The process was about uncovering, reducing until only what felt essential to him remained. Black and white became the natural choice — like the piano keys he inhabits: structured, expressive, and finely balanced.
Each piece was first precisely cut and painted separately, then carefully assembled by hand in the studio. The composition came together layer by layer — each element aligned, glued, and pressed into place. Though the visual language is minimal, the making is tactile and deliberate, balancing precision with "more precision".
