AUTUMN LEAVES

DESIGNER's insight

For the Autumn Leaves collection, I focused on reduction and structural clarity. Instead of illustrating a tree in detail, I selected a fragment of foliage and translated it into a controlled, deliberate composition.

The project examines contrast: light and dark, solid and void, density and openness. By simplifying the forms of leaves and branches, I removed anything ornamental and retained only what defines their structure. The result is direct, graphic, and balanced.

An essential aspect of the collection is the relationship between the positive and the negative. Each version functions independently, yet together they form a coherent visual pair. The intention was to create a calm, precise work where material, cut, and composition operate as one.

  • CONCEPT AND VISUALIZATION

The first layer functions as both a background and a sound-absorbing surface. The second layer, thinner and more rigid, carries the graphic composition. A negative of the second layer can be mounted on a separate background, creating a visually compelling pair. Each layer can be painted in the colors chosen by the client.
